Post PM Syndrome

I used to look up to this man .. he was outspoken and not afraid of world powers, he stood up for the weak, he was intelligent and put Malaysia on the map.

He was not perfect of course and has an evil side. One of the bad things he did was a direct hit on my family - we were protected Alhamdulillah, and my father was oh-so-patient and suffered in silence, held up by my mother's unwavering support.

And God is so so Great .. right before our eyes, we are seeing him turn into something what we - kindly - call senile. Some say he's suffering "Post Prime Ministerial Syndrome".

I am only so glad the other party is what I call a gentleman .. some describe his 'niceness' as being weak. But as Nabi Muhammad (SAAS) said, "If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all."

The other day, my colleague accused me of being a strong supporter of Mr. Nice. I guess I'm just thankful we don't have Bush or Blair as our leader.

hey..didn't know you were around. have a good trip and hope to see you soon.

this post was written in frustration actually .. after i saw footage of ex-pm rallying his supporters at subang airport, totally reminded me of anuar in 1997-98, rallying from an open top car
