Went to the Mines International Design Intelligence Expo with Kunta last Saturday. The ticket was originally RM50 .. but Alhamdulillah .. the organisers slashed it down to RM20 .. and no wonder .. coz they didn't have much to show. Tapi yang ada were a few of Karim Rashid's designs (felt like I walked into the pages of Vogue Living) and some stuff by designers I've never heard of. Also Karim in the flesh .. wearing a bright pink suit and huge Elvis shades which Kunta said is his signature style. To be honest, he looked quite horror coz he's really tall and lanky and he'd probably look better in black. But I guess 'designers' ni lain daripada lain .. for e.g. Anonymous and Kunta - well they're the only designers I know personally and the way they view the world is different from you and me .. thank God they don't wear bright pink suits and huge Elvis shades .. imagine the sight - HORROR to the MAX.

Anyway .. I did get to see the infamous Philippe Starck ghost chair .. although I can just do that by going to Naz's office in Kota D'sara which I've yet to do .. and he's got 2! But I think my favourite has got to be Kustaa Saksi's designs.

Our relaunch!! Despite having to dress up like Barney the purple dinosaur .. everything went well and everyone had fun!

Cruel evil people

The world is getting crazier each day .. a friend just told me about this website where some people in China offer videos and still photos of dogs, cats, rabbits and toads being stomped to death by a supposedly sexy woman wearing stockings and high heels. The website crushworld.net has, thank God, been shut down after a Chinese newspaper reported on it.

I saw the photos ... ada 3 .. and boleh nangis ok tengok gambar tu. The 1st one shows a Chinese woman dressed in an ugly skimpy outfit carressing a kitten. The 2nd pix shows her putting the kitten down by her feet .. and then the last photo shows her heel puncturing the kitten's eyes!!!!!!!!! She stomped the kitten to death! Ya Allah .. I can't believe there are such people in this world .. and they deserve hell on earth and in akhirat! If I ever meet this woman .. God, I think I'd kill her with my bare hands.

Aiz, Ross .. the way you give your love to your cats .. pahala mencurah-curah inshaAllah. Those cruel evil people .. with God's will .. boleh pi Jahanam.
